Tonight's VTC with Malaysia wasn't so bad. It only lasted an hour.
I had a busy day with our transportation department. They requested a bunch of stuff, but they never got back with me. They were acting like it was so important. Their world was just going to fall apart. So when I tried to get back with them, they had all left for the day. They didn't respond to two e-mails and when I called they were gone. So now, it's no longer a priority for me. I hate to be crappy about it, but I have other issues on my plate.
I missed dinner tonight and I'm hungry and grumpy. I'm thinking about digging through the office fridge to look for someone's leftovers. But that's rude and I'd hate to look forward to some leftovers only to find that someone beat me to it. Which reminds me of Sara. If I don't specifically say, "I'm going to take this spaghetti into work tomorrow!", I'm probably not going to get it. As a matter of fact, if I don't take it in that next day, I'll lose my claim to the left over spaghetti. If it wasn't important enough for me to take it after I said I was going to take it, then it's fair game. I better hide it in the fridge out in the garage.
A friend back home sent me an e-mail today about a job being advertized back in Delaware that the company is looking to fill. I'm not 100% qualified for it, but what the heck? If no one else applies for it, maybe I'll get it. Or maybe I'll be just more qualified than any another applicant. So I tossed my hat in the ring. If the boss can wait until I get back to fill it, maybe I'll get it. So while I was waiting for my VTC to start, I looked at houses on-line that I liked in the area. We'll be transferring this summer anyway.
The women in our office have the air conditioner cranked up today. I'm not usually one to complain about the cold, but, dang! I'm freezing today.
I need to remember to buy some crazy glue tomorrow. And speaking of crazy, it's crazy that I'm still up. Good night.

LOL! I would think growing up with dad would have prepared you for the whole "leftovers" issue! And on the subject, I received a DailyCandy message today about these ingenious devices:

What's the crazy glue for? To "adjust" the temperature long-term?
