Sunday

This is the start of my last week here.

I slept in a little bit this morning.  I wanted to sleep in later, but for some reason I woke up all bright eyed.  I chatted with Sara for a little while on the computer.  She told me that the kids are all excited about the prospect of a new house.  I'm glad that they are so flexible and resilient to change.  We have a lot of change coming up in the next two to three months.

They have a road trip back from Colorado.  I'm returning to Delaware.  Trips to the beach, the zoo, Sesame place… Rebecca starting kindergarten.  Then we're going through all the stuff related to getting ready to move.  One hundred trips to The Wiggles Store.  Staying at Grandad's house for a while.  Driving all the way out to Washington over a period of 10 days or so.  Moving into a new house.  Getting all of our house stuff delivered again.  Rebecca starting kindergarten again.  Finding a new grocery store…

I'm looking forward to finding a new grocery store.  That's always fun.  When you move to a new place and you're not familiar with the grocery stores and you "shop around" to find which grocery store fits your personality and budget the best.  Sara and I still miss Dierberg's, our favorite grocery store in Illinois.

Jennifer's flight got cancelled today.  So she's still stuck in Memphis.  That might be a good thing, because she was supposed to have a layover in Boston.  I asked my buddy Pete to see if there was anything he could do to get Jennifer a direct flight from Memphis to Kissimmee.  I hope that works out for her.

Time to hit the sack.  Good night.
