Denied!

I had to sit through a four hour security briefing today. So did Tony, Ashley, and Mike. So we had to catch the seven o’clock bus to go to a nearby campus to get the briefing. The bus was packed and pretty bumpy. Only we found out when we got there that the briefing was postponed until Monday! Grrrr! So we had to get back on the bus to head back to our compound. I was anxious to get back because I was hungry and I was planning on eating when we got to our first destination

But we made it abck to work in time to get breakfast and watch a little television. When we walked back into the office, Chip and Spencer were really surprised that we were there. They didn’t know that the briefing had been cancelled.

We didn’t have any work scheduled so we pretty much just sat around for most of the morning. And in the afternoon we didn’t have a lot to do either. I helped Ashley with some of what she was doing. I printed out a bunch of copies and I assembled a three hole punch so that I could punch holes in my printouts and put them in a binder.

Later in the afternoon, we burned all of our documentation that we couldn’t get rid of any other way. That’s a Saturday tradition. There is a burn barrel over and away from out bldg, and we put the burn barrel to good use.

Around eight thirty Chip brought in his laptop and someone else found a projector. Someone pulled down the screen out of the ceiling and we all sat around and watched a movie called The Boondock Saints. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Kind of violent in a Tarantino kind of way. But I liked the story.

Now I just want to sleep.
