It looks like I'll be taking a little trip this upcoming week. It's like a little break for us. But it'll be just me going for four or five days. Nothing is definite yet, but things are in the work behind the scenes to make it happen for the blue team.
Today was nice and laid back. Nowhere nearly as hectic as the last couple of Sundays. I went to the gym with Mike, Spence, and Keith. Ate a lunch that was completely unremarkable. Worked on my weekly powerpoint presentations. Went to church – didn't sing any songs that I knew.
We still don't have a pianist or organist. So when we sing it's not exactly a "joyful noise". I hope God realizes we're trying to make a joyful noise unto Him, we just don't have a lot of confidence in our singing abilities. We're lacking the gusto, as John Wesley might say.
Tomorrow is a rest day from the gym and I'm looking forward to that.
