This morning started out as a warm, sunny day here. It was "chest day" at the gym and Keith blew us all out of the water. For a forty three year old guy, he's a machine. And he's really smart on this stuff, so he's a big help to me, Mike, and Spence.
Work was hectic. I've been thinking of other ways to try to describe the increasing burden of our workload. We try to put out the fires that we can. Our bosses prioritize the most important projects. We try to pick off the 'low hanging fruit', but the requests just keep on coming and coming and coming.
I took some time off this evening to go to church. We don't have a pianist or organist, so everything we sing is a capella. One of the songs we sang was "Standing on the Promises" which is always a fun song to sing. Then we heard the "standing on the promises vs. sitting on the premises" joke. Always a knee-slapper!
And it should not come as a surprise that our internet does not work tonight. This'll have to go out tomorrow...
