I didn’t go to work today! I volunteered to do some… volunteer work in the community today and boy did I pull the lucky card. I got to watch people spread gravel, do construction work, and trucks dump gravel, and a small steam roller roll around. It was something good for the community, it got me out of the office for a day, AND it got me out of the office for the day. What a bonus. That’s right--I said that twice.
Let’s see…
Katrina opens soda can’s noisily? I’m sure I do also. I don’t drink a lot of soda anymore – but I’ll get one tomorrow and open it when the office is really quiet.
Why do the roses look sad to you?
YES! We certainly need time off!
I’ll have to get a picture of Mr. Mole. And “American” food in other countries is scary. Do I need to go find that picture of Mr. Hankey on a stick?
I should have about 6 days of overlap with my replacement.
My personal favorite review of the shirt was the guy who spilled his Tuscan Milk on his shirt. Tuscan Milk reviews are equally hysterical.
And I still have my big iPod. It’s just not as convenient because it doesn’t fit neatly into that annoying little pocket in my work out shorts. That pocket isn’t good for anything but a THAT sized iPod and a couple of throat lozenges.
Yeah, it was kind of disappointing to find out that the house we liked wasn’t in very good condition.
Saying “I’m leaving next month” is pretty awesome. Even better now that we’re over half way through June!
Thanks, mom! I am feeling much better now!
I was successfully able to retrieve my .pst files. Halleluja! And to be totally honest, I didn’t do a thing but bother our IT guys. And even they didn’t know (1) what was wrong, (2) how to fix it, or (3) how it got fixed. It was just fixed one day and my IT guys were completely perplexed. But we didn’t care. We transferred everything to my CPU and it’s with me until the CPU goes 10-toes-up.
I don’t remember if I really remember Poppop’s 55th birthday or not. But for some reason, I think I do remember the tie tack.
Towel Day was a day set aside two weeks after the passing of Douglas Adams as a way of saying “So Long and Thanks…” On that day, all Hitchhikers carry their towel around all day in remembrance. Don’t Panic. Not only did I miss towel day, I was going to carry my towel on my 42 day. But I forgot that also. I guess I’m not the hoopy frood I thought I was.
No, Katrina. L’il Stud wasn’t wearing the pink skin anymore. But it was mainly because s/he wouldn’t fit in that annoying little pocket on my work out clothes.
And I would go back further, but at this point the website has stopped working for me. I’ve gotta try and call Sara again while she’s at school. TTFN.
Poop. Yahoo’s not working either.

Glad to hear you got to go outside and play for a change!
ReplyDeleteI think it was the last rose pic that did it, with the plant just in front of what looked like a crate with military-esque lettering on it. I guess they could be seen as more a sign of hope or something, but I'm an eternal pessimist :~P
