I am now a double digit midget, but not quite at 50%. Today was a busy day, but a good day.
I learned a little more about my job today. I don’t really know how to explain it. Say we have a customer wants to change a delivery date more than 15 days, it’s not as easy as just changing the date. Due to the types of assets that we are dealing with, a lot of people have to get involved. So now, I am part of that process as well.
Chip was in charge starting today, and he was really busy. So I had been tasked to take care of a delivery date change (DDC) and I was able to bumble through it and I’m pretty sure I got it right. But that took a huge chunk out of my day. And since it was Saturday that meant it was movie night. We watched Tropic Thunder, which I thought was hysterical. Sara and I saw it before I left and I remember her laughing a few times during that movie as well.
Today was a warm, sunny day. A nice day to be outside. I remembered that Sara’s family in Colorado were getting snow dumped on them. It’s funny to think that they’re still getting snow this late in April.
That’s all for today. Short day.

"Double-digit midget"--hee! I hadn't heard that one before!
ReplyDeleteWhoops--I forgot to add that I got my first mosquito bite of the year this morning when I was hanging up clothes. Bah, humbug.
ReplyDeleteBetter a double digit midget than a mental midget!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, "Tropic Thunder" was so beyond hilarious! My stomach hurt after the movie.
ETA - my verification word was "farcup." I'm actually planning on integrating that into my daily vocabulary. As a noun AND a verb, of course. Though I might add to it, a la "farcitup."
