Comments

First, let me start by saying that I haven't read the comments listed here in a long, long time, and I am going to have to start paying more attention.  I don't like to re-read what I've written--kind of like the same way I never re-read my travel entries from my last trip.  I don't know why…  I just haven't re-read them.  Someday I'll like to read my travel diaries from front to back and see if there is anything else I can fill in that I may have forgotten when I wrote them.

I'd do the same with this journal.  And I'll provide a glossary to decode the cities and names and stuff that I've changed.

The way I write this journal is on a word document that is currently 143 pages long with every (almost) journal entry on this one long word document.  When I'm finished with one day, I attempt to log into the website, post my entry, and usually go to bed right after that.  I don't really dink around and take the time to read the comments on my entries, even though I sometimes take the time to leave entries on other people's journals.

Sometimes the website doesn't work for a day or two and I just wait until it's back up and I'll post multiple days.  You've probably noticed that happening once or twice.  Sometimes I'm able to post to the website from my e-mail.  And sometimes the whole kit-and-kaboodle is down and I have to wait.  When you notice the font is different, that's when I've had to use e-mail to post.

I think that maybe one reason that I don't read the entries is that most of the time, one of you will e-mail me your question or comment and I'll reply straight to that person.  If I get TWO e-mails asking about the same thing, then I'll reply to them both; and I'll try to tie it in to the next day's entry.  I think now that you all think I'm ignoring your comments.  Well, I guess I am.  I just haven't been reading them.  So it's not like I'm reading them and laughing and not responding…

So to clarify one point, Keith is not on The List.  Kevin (The Mole) is on the list.  And The List is from a Movie where the main character is a real jerk.  But he changes his ways; and during the course of his mending old wounds, he calls people from his past and apologizes for being a jerk.  One of the people he calls to apologize to is a psycho.  And after his apology, the psycho guy pulls out a list that's entitled "List of People I Have to Kil." and crosses out the name of the main character.  Later on the movie, the psycho guy came to the rescue of the main character (who is now a nice guy).

And since I explained The List, let me also say that I'm NOT planning on killing Kevin.  Nor is anyone else in the office.  And I'm not even the one who put Kevin on the list.

Darn.  The website isn't working now.  So I'll try again tomorrow and see if there are any comments that need responding to or questions that need answered.  Or, if there has been something that you've wanted answered that might be more than a few weeks old, shoot me an e-mail and I'll respond to it over the next few days.

  2. So you DIDN'T read my comment about me and Chris winning the Powerball? And discovering the cure for the common cold (tequila)?
