I think that we’ve been here for eleven weeks now. And that reminded me of the farewell dinner we had last week for Gil and Tony. Gil gave a farewell speech and said something along the lines of “I’ve was blessed with long days and short weeks.” And that really is what it is like here. Every day is a long day, but every week seems to go by fast. There’s something about Thursday nights that really just sneak up on me.
I got another message from my replacement. It looks likes she’s going to make it here on time to make it here on the 20th of July. So that’s good news.
And I’m totally exhausted. Groundhog day.
