My computer is slooooow. I’ve run adaware, anti-virus (both up to date), and de-fragged the ahrd drive. I hope this computer isn’t about to poop-out on me. This is a nice little computer. And the places it’s been. I’ve tried to keep it clean and as dust (sand) free as possible. I might look on line at buying one of those external hard drives that can back up everything. I can replace the music that I have on here, but not all of my pictures.
Today was a pretty good day. The late night VTC with our buddies in Malaysia went well enough. Not too much chit chat. When I get to Kissimmee I don’t know if I have to keep doing this. On one hand, the VTC is a pain in the butt. On the other hand, I get to sleep in a little bit on Wednesday morning.
I’ve been really good at wearing my pedometer all day now. I haven’t forgotten it except for that one day. And now it’s like a conscious on my hip. I was busy this afternoon and was going to skip going to the gym… then I realized that at the end of the day I’d have proof that I slacked off. So I went to the gym just so I’d have a nice, high number at the end of the day - 13,400 steps. And I needed those extra steps. Because today I had a chicken cheese steak sandwich and, while it tasted yummy, it sat like a rock in my stomach.
Happy Saint Patrick’s day to everyone. I didn’t wear any green today. I would have worn my green socks, but I got dressed without thinking about it and wore my black socks instead. I did wear a big, green leprechaun hat at work for about 15 minutes. So maybe that counts.
It looks like the move to Kissimmee it becoming a reality. A bunch of dates have been tossed around, but the 22nd of March has been the consistent date for the past few days. I’m not sure when Mike’s moving, but Ashley and I are slated to transfer on the 22nd. And I meant to bring this up before, but Ashley’s husband is named John Quincy. How cool is that?
I’m going to sign off now. Someone have a Guinness for me!
