We seem to have no more internet in out apartment. Not sure why. Hopefully it'll be back soon.
Wooo! I have no idea what's up, but in the past two weeks, I have slept through my alarm clock three times. It might be something as easy as moving my alarm clock to a different location so I have to get out of bed to find it and turn it off. And then stay OUT of bed.
It rained again today. I don't know if this is the kind of rain that I was hoping for. It jsut rains for 30 minutes to an hour a couple times a day and gets everything mucky. But I was walking around this afternoon after the rain had stopped and the sky was a nice blue, like you expect the sky to be blue, with just a few clouds. The air was cool and there was just a slight breeze. If only we had some flowers here, it would look like spring.
Mike has taken to making the coffee at work. And by coffee, what he really is making is really, really strong coffee. I'd rather have strong coffee than weak coffee, but I think he's just trying to make it as strong as he can. It's almost gotten tot he point that I'm about to make it a point to come in early just to make coffee so he won't. Mike's father has sent a couple bags of Pureto Rican coffee, and it's very good. I can't remember the name right off of the top of my head, but I'll try to remember later.
We're going to re-arrange offices in a couple of days. We've gotten some new people here in the company and I suggested to Chip that we move our office around by funtional area. Unfortunately, that means that Mike and I will lose Ashley, but we will gain Chip. Ashley will move in to Keith's office with the two new guys and Tony will move in with Spencer and the other new guy. It'll be kind of a pain for now, but it's a pain having to track people down now.
So this entry will be a test. I'm actually sending it from my yahoo account, because the journal website is blocked at work. So here goes this test.

Well, it came through ok, it seems. I know what you mean about the coffee--I'd rather have strong than weak, myself, but too much is too much! Is Mike Puerto Rican, or does his dad just like Puerto Rican coffee?
ReplyDeleteIt's cooled off here, praise God, and turned rainy again. I think most of the retaining ponds around new construction are filled up again--a very good sign. I'm hoping we get enough rain (a little at a time, thank you very much) to get a head start on the summer-time drought!
By the way, the circus is back in town at Spence's--I saw the camels when I was on the way home for lunch!
