Pace

The pace of activities around here certainly has picked up.  This morning a few of us went on our weekly run and then went to the gym.  Someone thought it would be a good idea to do sprints.  There was a new person in our group.  I'm not sure that was such a great idea.  My legs are going to hurt tomorrow.

Oh, there was a new person with us today.  I don't remember what her name was, but she just moved here from Texas.  And she was not used to the high elevation.  Her breathing sounded really bad, but she didn't quit.

At work I tried to take care of some of the paperwork that I need in order to move to Washington.  It's a little harder than I thought it would be from a couple of states away.  Once again, I'm not too impressed with our pediatrician, or rather, the clinic where the doctor works.

Mike and I were able to get Ashley to leave a little  bit early tonight so we were able to get a lot done with just the two of us in the office and some music playing.  Mike likes to listen to Kenny Chesney.  A lot.  Every day.  And I like a little K.C. every now and then, but I think that I'm about to have an iTunes accident and lose those tracks.

Chip was really busy today and he tasked the three of us to take care of his travel plans and his conference details.  That was a nice break from our regular work.  Each of us had a piece of the puzzle and we did what we could to get him set up for his trip.  It'll be nice to have Spencer back for a while and give Chip a chance to get out of here for a few weeks.  I think that Mike and I will also have a chance to go to a conference sometime soon and we'll get to travel somewhere besides Boston and Kissimmee.  Spencer went to Florida and to St. Louis.  I would have loved to have gone back to St. Louis for a week.

Tomorrow is a half day for us.  I'm going to try to sleep in a bit and relax.  This is supposed to be a busy weekend for us.
