Embarrassing

I got seven hours of sleep last night, but I was still beat all day. I fell asleep in church. I was fighting it for a while, but the Z-Monster finally got me and I was knocked out for a few minutes. I was pretty embarrassed. I think the only people that noticed were the ones sitting behind me.

We had Sandy’s going away ceremony and luncheon today. Her replacement isn’t here yet. He’s going to go straight to Kissimmee. Whenever someone leaves our office, Sandy always makes a top-10 list of things that we’re going to remember about them. So for her going away, I’ve been working on a top-10 list for her. I didn’t know it, but Diane made a top-10 list also. We compared lists and we had four identical entries. So then we had a top-16 list until Brock came up with a 17th entry. Dianne and I read the top-17 list and we presented Sandy with a coffee mug that says “Uff Da!” for her to take back to Minnesota.

I didn’t do anything really productive at work today. I just kind of took up space. I did look at houses on line. Though I didn’t see any that were anywhere near as nice as the one that Sara found online. Mike looked at the house and neighborhood and strongly approved. Now Sara and I have to hope that it stays on the market for another couple of months. And since that house has been on the market for so long, hopefully the owners will be will be willing to negotiate.
My buddy, Truth, hasn’t found out about his transfer and he’s really quite jealous that I’ve found out already.

I can’t think of anything else today. I need to pack tomorrow for our flight on Tuesday.
