They’re Gone… Almost

Today was actually a really good day. I can’t really remember anything great happen, but I got a lot done. I got two packages sent up for signature and I have two more that are staffing now that should be wrapped up by week’s end. I need to get everything wrapped up before I can leave for Kissimmee. I’m looking forward to going someplace new.

It was another beautiful spring day. The sun was shining and it was probably in the low sixties. If it was anywhere but here, we would have daffodils growing

I do remember something great happening today. The director left today. Chuck left also. Well, they almost left. They showed back up a few hours after they left because their plane was delayed for 24 hours. But for all intents and purposes they are gone.

I met the new president and vice president this evening. It was quite a surprise. Mike and I were at the coffee shop just shooting the breeze and there was no one else around. Two other guys showed up and were just looking around and we yelled to them to come over and join us, so they did. And it wasn’t until they sat down that we realized who they were. They were both really nice and they were kind of surprised that we called to them. We probably wouldn’t have yelled to they had we really known who they were. But they seemed genuinely interested to hear what two junior managers had to say.

I got a box in the mail today from dad. Cookies and a shirt and some coffee and some candy. The candy and coffee were a hit. Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is a big hit at the office. I’m taking the big bag of coffee to Kissimmee with me. I hope they have a coffee bean grinder at the new office.

My computer is acting funny. Hopefully, I’ll be able to write more later.
